Romy Wajon

Romy Wajon is an incident response coordinator and innovation lead within the Computer Emergency Response Team of Northwave. It drives her to help every victim as best as possible in cyber incidents and bring them back in business as quickly and securely as possible. Before working at Northwave, Romy was an investigator in a cybercrime team at the Dutch police. This combined experience equips her with extensive knowledge of cybercrime, criminal behavior, and information confidentiality. Her goal is to make it criminals difficult in order to make the digital world for everyone as safe as possible. In order to make it cybercriminals difficult information sharing is crucial in her opinion. Romy knows the importance and limits of information sharing. Not only within the private sector, but also between the private and public sector. Romy searches for opportunities instead of boundaries. With her innovative mindset she tries to inspire people to do the same.
